Wizards vs. Bucks postgame celebration thread: Giannis draws first blood, D.C. gets last laugh

No Egg McMuffin, but we got half price pizza for Halloween.

Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

The Wizards didn't play well, but they won, 118-113 over the Bucks Friday night. With the win, we're 2-0 for the first time since 2005!

Despite the high score and a half-price Papa John's Pizza tomorrow, this game didn't start on the right note.

Giannis Antetokounmpo did this first on Nene:

and the Wizards were turnover-prone to the max on Friday. They made 21 of those, 10 in the third quarter! Washington was down by as much as 13 points in this game that they would have easily lost in past seasons.

But thanks to a barrage of threes in the fourth quarter, including a 9-0 stretch here:

and John Wall making this dagger late,

we finally got a second W in the candy bag. Beal scored 26 points to lead all scorers, and Ramon Sessions also added 23 off the bench. Wall added 19 points and 10 assists.

Umair's got recap in a few. But in the meantime, feel free to let out your emotions within reason of course.
