We got more basketball to watch.

As mentioned previously, we were going to have another GameThread for tonight's Warriors vs. Pelicans game.

The game is on TNT and will air at 10:30 p.m. ET, though an overtime Bulls vs. Cavaliers game may start intruding into this contest.

Golden State showed last year that a team built around shooters, players who actually like being around one another (LOOKING AT YOU KOBE!) and a pace-and-space offense can win an NBA title. Yet many still want to hand the Cleveland Cavaliers the preseason title, assuming you agree with most NBA GM's in some survey thingamajiggy. (Is that how that word's spelled?)

That sentiment certainly gives them plenty of reasons to still have a chip on their shoulders as they defend their title with a roster that is basically the same as last year's. Anthony Davis is a Top-3 player in the making, but I think GSW should come out victorious in the end.

P.S. - People wanted a '90's classic. I present you Coolio's "Gangsta's Paradise."

I can't believe this song is now 20 years old!

I miss the '90's ... and my childhood. :_(
