The preseason has been complete for awhile, but let's face it. The games actually count in the regular season. Even though the Wizards won't play until tomorrow, there are some games today!
In an hour, the season will start with two games on the docket:
- The Chicago Bulls host the Cleveland Cavaliers at 8 p.m. ET in a game between two of the Eastern Conference's best teams, other than the Washington Wizards of course. You can watch the game on TNT. To read more on today's matchup, go to Blog a Bull and Fear the Sword for your Bulls and Cavs fixes.
- The Atlanta Hawks will host the Detroit Pistons at 8 p.m. ET. In the D.C. area, you'll have to watch it on NBA League Pass on television or online. But if you live in or are otherwise near Atlanta, watch the game on Fox Sports Southeast. If you're in Detroit, tune into FS Detroit. Log onto Peachtree Hoops and Detroit Bad Boys to read previews, team analysis, and more.
We'll have another GameThread for the Warriors and Pelicans later tonight.
Since ESPN has been playing the theme of "Welcome Back, Kotter" lately in their promos, I decided to find a music video of a relatively recent tune that goes along the same lines.
Welcome back, NBA!
