Catch up with your fellow Bullets Forever community members -- and us -- when the Wizards host the Celtics on January 16, 2016!

Based on the results from our offseason community survey, one of the things we decided to implement right away was a "Bullets Forever Night" where we can all meet up to watch a game together at the Verizon Center. Our target date was on Saturday, January 16, 2016 when the Wizards host the Celtics.

After getting in touch with Monumental Sports' guest services staff over the past couple weeks, we've finally made the booking official! We are going to have our first-ever Bullets Forever Night on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. for the Celtics game.

Below is a list of the seat locations, benefits, how to buy the seats, and an FAQ:

Seat Locations

The seats are located in the 400 level. This is the upper bowl of the arena. Prices are below:

  • Section 405 (corners): $23/seat ($25.69 after processing fees)
  • Section 402 (center): $28/seat ($30.84 after processing fees)
  • Monumental Sports has blocked off a few entire rows of seats in both Sections 402 and 405 in order to allow all BF'ers, their friends, families, etc. to sit together.

In addition to getting a seat for the game, you will also receive the following:

    • A Wizards T-Shirt
    • Early Entry to Verizon Center and see warmups in the 100 level: The doors to Verizon Center normally open one hour before game time which would be at 6 p.m. Instead, you can get to Verizon Center at 5:30 p.m. to see warmups in the 100 level. Players often give autographs before heading back to the locker room so this is a real opportunity to get one. But of course, there are no absolute guarantees that John Wall and Bradley Beal will be signing autographs for you.
    • The biggest benefit: Getting a chance to meet up with fellow Bullets Forever community members! And yes, a number of our writers will also be at the game, sitting in the stands with you. Remember, all of us, writers and community members alike, are super Wizards fans!

How to buy and get your tickets

    1. Go to this link right here. Your ticket options -- and the number of tickets left in each row -- are there.
    2. Once you pay for the tickets, they will be transferred to you electronically via Monumental Sports' account manager system. You must log onto your Monumental Sports account site in order to get them.
    3. The best part about having a Monumental Sports account is that it can hold all the tickets you buy not only for the Wizards but also the Capitals and Mystics.
    5. Oh yeah, here's the link to buy tickets once again.

Here are some answers to questions we anticipated:

    1. I think I can buy these tickets in these sections for less on StubHub,, or Craigslist for less than the advertised prices. Why should I buy these tickets instead?

The simple reason is because we're trying to sit together and hang out for a night in January. I can't put a price tag on ensuring that our commenters can hang out together for a night, regardless of the location.

In addition, the opportunities you have for early entry AND getting a t-shirt should help defray the cost of buying a ticket vs. the ticket some other person is selling for less.

    2. I am already a Wizards season ticket holder and my seats are better than the 400 level. What now?

I'm in the same boat. But I'll be in the 400's with the rest of y'all who go. Again, it's that hanging out with our community members on a day for us is worth something too. And I can't put a price tag on that.

You are free to use the exchange -- or some of the aforementioned resellers in question 1 -- to sell your seats to others. But again, we want to be in this together.

    3. I want 100 level seats for this event but still want the same benefits. What do I do?

The inventory in the 100 level for group sales is very limited. After all, the Wizards are playing better than ever now.

If you are interested in getting a 100 level seat for BF Night, please send me an email (aleeinthedmv AT gmail DOT com) or write a comment. If there is enough genuine interest -- and you are really ready to buy -- then I'll get back with Monumental and we'll go from there.

But the bottom line is that I can't make a guarantee about reserving 100 level seats right now.

    4. Will there be a pregame or postgame hangout at a restaurant or bar in town on that night?

As of now, I haven't planned one. But if you are really interested, please email me or write a comment.

    5. Albert, are you getting commission from Monumental Sports to do this?

I wish. But no, and perhaps they should. :)

    Final Takeaways

Bullets Forever Night is on January 16, 2016. Invite your friends and family to go to Verizon Center and buy your tickets. We'll be there too.

From all of us here at Bullets Forever, we look forward to hanging out with you!
