The NBA is always trying to give the people what they want. Clearly, the people want more Washington Wizards.
For the third time this month, the NBA has announced that a Washington Wizards game is being added to the national TV schedule. First, the NBA moved January 14th's Wizards vs. Bulls game to ESPN, then last week they announced the Wizards would face the Rockets on ABC in late March. Here's the announcement of the latest addition from the NBA:
Thursday, March 12, 2015
The Memphis at Washington game will now be televised by TNT. The Cleveland at San Antonio game time will change to 8:30 PM local/9:30 PM ET and will continue to be televised by TNT. The New York at L.A. Lakers game will no longer be televised by TNT.
Let's highlight that last part, just to make sure you noticed it.
The New York at L.A. Lakers game will no longer be televised by TNT.
The NBA moved Knicks vs. Lakers off the national TV schedule for Wizards vs. Grizzlies. The only appropriate response to such an incredible gesture by the NBA is for John Wall to reward the NBA's confidence in him with another career-high scoring performance.
