There have been a looooooot of tweets about Kevin Durant since he said that LeBron James' homecoming was "classy" on Tuesday. Here are just some very recent tweets on the #KD2DC subject:
Kevin Durant says nice things about D.C. (and Oklahoma City too but la la la la la can't hear you) http://t.co/pHrQrUTVQX

We have new bio, location and header information for our profile.

@BulletsForever I see you with the new background and bio! #KD2DC in full effect bruhhhhhh pic.twitter.com/knegTWhlcO

Durant's refusal to say anything negative about DC or the Thunder will keep the #KD2DC Tilt-A-Whirl spinning until we all vomit.

Unclear if the #KD2DC mania is sustainable, but... http://t.co/KNLx9wwyhv pic.twitter.com/0t1ULZLJDE

Kevin Durant: "I'm coming home ...to live in my mother's basement and become a blogger."

Now because of the constant tweets, ESPN's Darren Rovell tweeted this in the early afternoon... that KD is taking Twitter off his phone. OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kevin Durant tells me he’s deleting Twitter from his phone. Doesn’t want the distraction. Won’t leave Twitter itself.

Even before then, the man himself has confirmed it too, more or less:
iPhone go silent, like I ain't need the stress
— Kevin Durant (@KDTrey5) July 29, 2014
No pressure, KD, no pressure.
Well, now that KD has deleted Twitter from his iPhone, well, did we just let the cat out of the bag?
#WizardsTwitter is going to turn Kevin Durant off to coming home before he ever considers it. Good one, jerks.

Fair point, but it's not like NO ONE around here was thinking about this like ... ever!
The movement isn't going away @KDTrey5 - time to answer the bell, as @BulletsForever has astutely noted pic.twitter.com/XARlMXqi19

Rules for tweeting about #KD2DC: 1. By all means, do. 2. Plz don't @ him unless it's super important. 3. That? Yeah, seems super important.

I think at some point, anyone would be overwhelmed by what's happening on social media. But at the same time, this #KD2DC movement isn't going away any time soon. So even though the tweets on the subject are bound to taper off once the FIBA World Cup and the season starts, every tweet on @KDTrey5 is still bound to be SUPER IMPORTANT.
