John Wall wants to wear throwback jerseys

If you were hoping that the Washington Professional Basketball Franchise would go back to its old nickname, this probably won't make you happy. In an interview to promote his new Cherry Blossom adidas shoes, John Wall said that he loves the "Bullets" nickname, but it's not going to happen.

Via Michael Lee:

"The Wizards logo is cool. I like all that, but I wish we could go back to these - but I know we're never going back."

Hold on. Let me simulate the reactions of several of you:

If returning to "Bullets" is a deal breaker, how about some throwback jerseys at least? Wall is hoping for this as well:

"One time in my career, I would like to wear some throwback jerseys, just one time, one time. I want to wear it one time. I know it's tough, but it'd be cool."

One time? How about several times? Why not?
