It's actually happening tonight at Verizon Center: an NBA game with postseason implications. With both the Wizards and Nets jockeying to avoid the seventh seed and an inevitable first-round matchup against Indiana or Miami, a victory at home over Brooklyn tonight could be huge for Washington's chances of reaching the second round.

That's a pretty big deal for this team and us, the fans. A first-round series victory would certainly fit with the plan of wooing veteran players by showing the team has "arrived." So let's see if John Wall and company can pull this one out and get a step closer to that.

And since it's the weekend of St. Patrick's Day, don't get too rowdy! GO WIZARDS!

(Unless it's about basketball. Hoops rowdiness is to be respected, if not outright encouraged.)
