The rest of the world gets to see the sweet stroke we watch every week as Wizards guard Bradley Beal will participate in the Three-Point Shootout later this month. Part of the Saturday night action at All-Star Weekend in New Orleans, he'll be joining John Wall as the point guard joins the Slam Dunk Contest.
The third of four events on Saturday, Feb. 15, the contest also includes Magic guard Arron Afflalo, Warriors guard Stephen Curry, Spurs guard Marco Belinelli, Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard and Timberwolves forward Kevin Love.
For Beal, this is second time being at All-Star Weekend after participating in the Rising Stars Challenge as a rookie. He'll be playing in that game again as a sophomore after being selected third in Thursday's draft. This season, he's shot 75-of-184 (40.8 percent) from beyond the arc.
The only Washington player to win the Shootout was Tim Legler back in the 1996 days of the Bullets era.
Considering the field, which includes arguably the game's best shooter (Curry) and a number of other fantastic gunners, how do you think Beal will fare? Zero misses and good times for all?
