The Washington Wizards have acquired Andre Miller from the Denver Nuggets in a three-team deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski and Marc Spears.
Jan Vesely will head to Denver, and Eric Maynor will head to the 76ers. The Wizards will also be sending the Pelicans' 2015 second-round pick that was initially acquired in the JaVale McGee trade, Bullets Forever has learned. Philadelphia will receive another second-round pick from the Nuggets as well.
Miller has not played much this season after being exiled by Brian Shaw following an altercation, but he obviously brings tons of experience and was still a capable playmaker before he was sent away. He will make $5 million this year and $4.6 million next year, though only $2 million of that is guaranteed.
And with that, the Wizards have acquired a veteran backup point guard. Do you think they gave up too much? Let us know.
