John Wall played 15 minutes in the 2014 All-Star Game off the bench, and he did not play as much as we would have hoped. Still, he did his part to help his team win, scoring 12 points on five made field goals. He also added five rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
Wall's best moment of the day was in the closing seconds of the third quarter, when he had a nice crossover and made a driving layup to make the score 126-123 in favor of the West.

Before that point, the East was down by double digits for much of the quarter.
Wall also provided us another great highlight during his short time on the floor. Here's a nice clutch reverse dunk he had in the second quarter:
Overall, I'm happy with Wall's performance tonight, but again, I wished that he played more minutes, in particular with the starters. It also stings a bit that Kyrie Irving went off and won MVP.
But nevertheless, I think that the Wizards overall had a great All-Star Weekend. Bradley Beal continued to provide valuable contributions in the Rising Stars Challenge last Friday. He followed that up with a great performance in the Three Point Contest yesterday.
Then for Wall, he was the Dunker of the Night in yesterday's Dunk Contest, and tonight, he made positive contributions in his first ever All-Star Game. And I'm sure that he will be in many more All-Star games to come in the future.
This weekend was about putting the Wizards in a positive light while getting national and worldwide exposure. Both Wall and Beal have delivered there, and it certainly is a boost for us as fans.
Now, it's time to continue the positive momentum from All-Star Weekend and finish the season strong.
