NBA Rising Stars Challenge 2014 open thread

So, if you don't have a Valentine's date, or if your date is a basketball junkie, here's your open thread to discuss Brad's play in the Rising Stars Challenge.  Game time is at 9:00 PM, which you can see on TNT.

Bradley Beal will play on Team Hill where he will play alongside fellow sophomore players like Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard, Golden State Warriors forward Harrison Barnes, Houston Rockets forward Terrence Jones, and Toronto Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas.  I'm liking this group of teammates for Beal here and these five could play together for long stretches in the game, if they're not starting this game as a unit.  Since fans get to vote for the starting lineups, who knows, but I'm liking this roster here nonetheless.

Team Hill will face off against Team Webber, which will be anchored by New Orleans Pelicans center Anthony Davis.  He will play alongside players who include Boston Celtics forward Jared Sullinger, Philadelphia 76ers guard Michael Carter-Williams, Orlando Magic guard Victor Oladipo, and New York Knicks swingman Tim Hardaway Jr.  That's also a good five man lineup right there.

Since this game will be at the Smoothie King Center (yup, the New Orleans Arena's naming rights were sold earlier this month), expect Davis to have the hometown fans fully behind him and Team Webber for this game.
