Randy Wittman's decision to sit Paul Pierce against Maccabi Haifa gave Otto Porter was given a chance to start and he used it to show off what he could do with starter's minutes. He logged 34 minutes against Haifa, a full four minutes more than anyone else on the Wizards last night, and used it to show off full repertoire.
He led all Wizards with 19 points (on 7-13 shooting from the field, and 1-2 on threes), 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. He also had the beautiful block which you can see above, if you haven't done so already. Porter put together the kind of stat line Georgetown fans were accustomed to seeing when he terrorized the Big East and one that he can hopefully somewhat replicate with the increased role he will need to take with Bradley Beal and Glen Rice Jr., among others, on the mend early this season.
But if we're being honest, Otto Porter could have scored 150 points last night and his outfit would still be the top highlight from the game:
