Hi folks. If you have Columbus Day off -- or even if you don't -- you'll be interested to know that there's a televised Wizards "practice" happening today. The Wizards will be at Fort Belvior, which is about 20 miles outside of Washington D.C., for a special event with military personnel.
This is a cool thing. There will be some serious practicing, but there will also be giveaways, on-court contests and more.
So: don't expect anything too serious. If you were looking to nail down the Wizards' newest after-timeout play or hear Randy Wittman yelling at Kevin Seraphin to get in proper position, this won't be for you. It's more likely that we'll see funny moments than important ones. Think Team USA's practice at West Point, not Real Training Camp.
Here's everything you need to know about the event.
Time: 1:30 p.m.
Channel: NBATV
Live Streaming Link: Right here.
Announcers: David Aldridge and Dennis Scott
