Bradley Beal is getting very close to returning to the court after a stress injury in his right fibula knocked him out of basketball-related activities for nearly three months.

Bradley Beal appears even closer to a return to basketball-related activities after dealing with a stress injury in his leg that knocked him out of the final week of the regular season. Beal said recently that he expects to be cleared in the "next week or two" and still plans on traveling to the Team USA minicamp at the end of July.

Nevertheless, Beal is anxious to play after missing close to three months with the injury. Via Michael Lee of the Washington Post:

"Watching the playoffs, watching these games and watching guys scrimmage and play, it makes you want to be out there, but you can't," Beal said. "At the same time, it's something you have to be patient with...You can't really rush it. I'm definitely taking my time, doing what I need to do. Having my trainers working me out and do what I need to do and get healthy."

The recovery time for the stress injury in his fibula was expected to be a minimum of six weeks. Beal is unlikely to play in the NBA Summer League, which takes place right before the Team USA minicamp.
