One night after getting Bradley Beal back from injury, the Wizards are expected to have another key pillar of the team return to the court. Nene went through shootaround on Wednesday morning and is expected to play against the Brooklyn Nets after missing three and a half games with a sore Achilles.
Of course, he won't admit that, for some reason.
Nene on return: "I don’t want to make public something & have Brooklyn wait for me. Let me surprise them a little bit, if I play." #wizards

Yeah, I'm not sure he's fooling anyone.
Nene's return should push Trevor Booker back to his bench role, which will (hopefully) bolster a unit that has been anemic this year. The Wizards have missed Nene dearly in his absence now and at many other points during his Wizards career, which Thomas detailed today in this piece.
