Trevor Booker injury: Wizards' forward tweets that he'll return Saturday

The Washington Wizards' forward put it out to the public that he "can't wait" to play in the Wizards' game against the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday.

It's still unclear whether the Washington Wizards will actually have John Wall back in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Atlanta Hawks, but it does sound like they will have Trevor Booker. Well, that's at least according to Booker himself.

There's still a few days between now and then, but I doubt Booker would have put this out there if he wasn't already cleared.

Booker has played in just nine games this season after suffering some sort of knee injury that hasn't really been explained. He went to the doctor on the same day Wall did in mid-December, and he's been out indefinitely since.

It remains to be seen how Booker fits in to the Wizards' rotation. The frontcourt already features some young players yo-yoing in and out of the rotation. Which of Booker, Jan Vesely and Chris Singleton emerges as a legitimate piece? Having all three around probably hurts everyone's development.
