A couple days ago, we asked you guys to predict when John Wall will ultimately take the court for the first time this season. Apparently, we need to limit that window to just the next two weeks, because that's when Wall will be returning, according to Sports Illustrated's Chris Mannix.
After practicing Thursday, Wizards guard John Wall is expected to make his season debut within the next two weeks, league sources told SI.com. Wall, the No. 1 pick in the 2010 NBA draft, has been sidelined all season with a stress injury in his left patella.
That means that Wall will be back in one of the following games:
- Sunday at Miami.
- Monday vs. Oklahoma City
- Saturday vs. Atlanta
- Monday vs. Orlando
- Wednesday at Sacramento
- Friday at Denver
- Saturday at L.A. Clippers
My guess is still Saturday at Atlanta, because he has a whole week to practice and get ready, but we'll see.
Wall did participate in practice again on Saturday and even ran the first team during the scrimmage, so clearly, he's on the comeback trail. Randy Wittman did note that conditioning might be an issue for Wall early on in his media address prior to Friday's game against the Brooklyn Nets.
