Another Wizards season is in the books -- our sixth on this site -- and while the team continues to struggle, the community continues to bring it strong. Now that we're done with all the game threads and in-season coverage, I just wanted to thank everyone that writes, comments and tweets about the Wizards on this site. Following this team can be difficult, and Bullets Forever has always helped me get through it.
Thanks to all the people who do so much behind the scenes to keep the site going. Thanks to Sean for taking on all road game recaps and adding his personal twist to them. Thanks to Derek (Bullet Nation In Exile) for his wonderful, unique writing and perspective that you can't find anywhere else. Thanks to Jake Whitacre for running the Bullets Forever Twitter and Facebook pages like a pro. Thanks to Michael Katz for his great work covering the team here and on SB Nation D.C. Thanks to Jeff Newman for his comprehensive links every day to keep us up to date with what's going on, and thanks to Jordan Khan for his awesome Clipboard breakdowns. Finally, thanks to Rook6980 and other friends of the site for writing in when inspiration strikes.
Most importantly, thanks to all of you for your comments, discussions, clicks and interest. This place is nothing without you, and while we keep saying it, it's also true. When I first started blogging in 2006, it was mostly because nobody I knew in college in Boston cared about a basketball team in Washington D.C. I never thought I could discuss my favorite team with this many intelligent and passionate fans in one place. Thanks to all of you for making this such a great place to hang out and discuss the Wizards.
We'll have plenty of offseason content in the days and weeks to come (here's a preview of one feature we're doing), so I hope you guys stick around. This is a huge offseason for the team, and we'll be here to chronicle it every step of the way.
