PREGAME READING: Meet the Bucks | Brew Hoop

SB Nation D.C.

Pregame notes:

  • No Nene or Trevor Booker again for the Wizards tonight, as both continue to be plagued by plantar fasciitis. Randy Wittman was asked if they could have played if a playoff berth was on the line. "I don't think so, [but] I can't answer that," was Wittman's response.
  • I asked Wittman whether he was concerned about John Wall's recent struggles since the trade for Nene. "You're going to run into stretches every year when you're struggling a little bit making shots. John's got to stay aggressive. He can't back off his aggression. That's the main thing." Wittman also said he didn't think Wall's issues have anything to do with adjusting to new teammates.
  • A light moment in the locker room: Chris Singleton was talking about his decision to buy 10,000 lottery tickets for the new Mega Millions Jackpot (yes, he actually did it). One reporter delicately asked him whether he feels, after the fact, that it was a good investment. "Either that, or blowing it at the club," was Singleton's response. Appreciate the honesty.
  • There will be a separate FanPost that'll act as the open thread for tonight's NCAA championship game between Kansas and Kentucky. Let's keep those posts over there and leave the game thread and recap for people watching the Wizards.
