PREGAME READING Silver Screen and Roll

SB Nation D.C. | SB Nation Los Angeles

A fair warning, folks: Verizon Center is going to be packed with Lakers fans tonight. There was a long line of spectators, mostly sporting purple and gold, waiting outside the Verizon Center as I walked inside. Get ready for another home-game-that-is-really-a-road-game tonight.

That's about the most substantive pregame thing I can report. Randy Wittman's pregame address was briefer than even his usual standards. On Kobe Bryant, Wittman said "we all know he can make difficult shots" and stressed the importance of not "putting our heads down" if he does make those shots. Otherwise, there wasn't much. I asked Wittman if he thought his team was ready to play, given what he said on Monday. "We were fine before we went on the floor. We'll see," he said.

That's about it. We'll open up a second thread if we reach 300 comments.
