This year will mark the 35th anniversary of the Washington Wizards' lone championship in 1978, and it looks like they'll be celebrating with a nice giveaway, according to Dan Steinberg. The Wizards will be handing out replica versions of the championship rings from their only title. You can check out some good pics of the rings that the Bullets received right here.
The replica rings probably won't be quite as high quality as the ones that Wes Unseld and company received in '78, but it should be a lot nicer than a Ring Pop. Here's to hoping the Wizards break out some throwback uniforms for the occasion, or at least try to get Kevin Seraphin to grow out his hair to look more like Unseld.
