This is sad, but predictable NBA lockout news. The NBA has announced that training camps and all preseason games up to October 15 (43 in all) have been postponed. Via a tweet, which is in all caps for some reason.
As for the rest of the preseason, Adrian Wojnarowski reports that'll be decided by October 1. This is exactly what he reported yesterday, but it doesn't make the pill any easier to swallow. The pain of the lockout is officially upon us.
UPDATE: The more important news is that the owners have made a small compromise on the BRI split. It's far, far too small to get anything meaningful done now, but it's still something.
