Denver Nuggets At Washington Wizards: Regular Season Game 44 Open Thread

Tonight the attention in Flip Saunders pregame press scrum was less focused on the opponent on hand, the Denver Nuggets, and more on the state of mind of Andray Blatche. I will save some of the more salient for Mike, who has an angle (and an article) on this, but what Flip Saunders had to say about Blatche was very interesting. In short:

1. Flip was questioned about his critique of Blatche last night in which he called the play of the PF "terrible." Flip's response, which may be his quote of the year was that "The truth can't be controversial."

2. Blatche is still injured, as both his knee and shoulder hurt. However, Flip stated that he will continue to play people whom the doctors say are available.

3. Flip also stated the Blatche would not necessarily benefit from a benching because players need to learn how to fail and play through mistakes.

So make of that what you will. I know I have an opinion that I will post later.
