Mike and I are both at the game tonight with coverage. Two days after having their lunch handed to them by the Boston Celtics, the Wizards have to handle the dynamic duo of Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol. Obviously, the spotlight is on Andray Blatche and his suspect defense, so we shall see if he can contain Randolph's scoring prowess.
Oh, and John Wall is a scratch tonight. He still has some pain on the inside of his ankle. The Wizards are not going to play him until he can cut without pain.
Flip's Pregame Notes:
- The key tonight is energy. The Wizards found themselves in "quicksand" during the Boston game.
- The Wizards keep trying to make the "too spectacular play." Substance!
- Nick Young and Kirk Hinrich have been the most consistent Wizards. Flip also praised Young's defense. He also praised Young's maturation over the last few games.
Mike will be attempting to talk to Greivis tonight, so all you Maryland alums should take a look out for that if he is successful.
Ok, lets all get stoked for some Z-Bo/Blatche.
GO WIZARDS!!!
