A clear sign we're getting closer to the season...

We're less than a week away from training camp, meaning the start of the 2009/10 season is nearly upon us.  It's been a long, long offseason and I'm personally very excited to finally see what this team can do.  Maybe we're still more than a month away from regular-season games, but much of the story of the 2009/10 Washington Wizards will be told in the coming months.

BF is going to be there to help tell the story.  Today kicks off a series of press events in which Bullets Forever has been invited to participate.  Flip Saunders will talk to media today at 2 p.m. about the upcoming season, and Ernie Grunfeld will follow suit Thursday at 2 p.m.  Next week, media day is on Monday, followed by a week of training camp, a preseason game in Richmond and a preseason game in DC.

Our coverage will likely look a lot like our Summer League coverage, but because this is a different animal, I welcome any suggestions on how to do things this time around.  I also strongly encourage you all to relay some questions you'd like answered in the coming weeks.  I can't guarantee I'll get to them all, but I'll do the best I can.  This is your site as much as it is mine, so I intend to try to represent the pulse of the community in addition to myself.

I'll try to post an open thread by 2 p.m. and will try to provide updates during the press conference, but no guarantees there.  Either way, feel free to give me some feedback and suggestions for how to use our access effectively.
