Pollin'!

Glad that Bullets Forever switched to electronic voting.

Last week, you chose Antawn Jamison's monster performance against Orlando as the top non-Gilbert performance of the year.  This was the closest finish to date, with Jamison only gathering 52% of the vote and all 5 performances nominated receiving at least one vote.  Here are some highlights from the winning performance:

With that all said and done, we now turn our eyes to this week's question: Who was the worst Wizard this year?  Any player from this year's roster can be voted for, but before you decide to vote let's take a look at the case for why each player was the worst Wizard this year...

I couldn't put all 15 players in the poll, so I didn't' put the six starters (Arenas, Stevenson, Butler, Jamison, Haywood/Thomas) in the actual poll, you can still vote for them by selecting other.  Just make sure you specify who you voted for in the comments section.  In alphabetical order, here are your nominees:

Gilbert Arenas
Why was he the worst?
He encourages people to make bad decisions?

Andray Blatche
Why was he the worst?
Well, if you're losing minutes to Darius Songaila you might not be the worst player on the team, but you're definitely not the best either.

Calvin Booth
Why was he the worst?
He's gun-shy.  He's obviously the best three-point shooter on the team yet he refuses to shoot it.  It's like driving a Ferrari in a parking lot, throw it up big man!  Throw it up!

Caron Butler
Why was he the worst?
[He spends too much time at Papa John's hangin' out with chicks.]

Antonio Daniels
Why was he the worst?
Can you name one good player to come out of Bowling Green?  Exactly.

Mike Hall
Why was he the worst?
He played 13 minutes, all year.  His big nose didn't help matters.

Jarvis Hayes
Why was he the worst?
Seriously, there's a section on the site called "Bad Jarvis Hayes", must I elaborate?

Brendan Haywood
Why was he the worst?
If your fanbase has nicknamed you "Brenda" you're probably not the greatest player to hit the hardwood.

Antawn Jamison
Why was he the worst?
Because he doesn't have a d anywhere in his name, which keeps him from having a derogatory nickname that criticizes his defense.

Roger Mason
Why was he the worst?
He gave up three home runs in a row once.  ...Oh not that Roger Mason.  Well he'd probably give up 3 dingers himself.

Michael Ruffin
Why was he the worst?
 Well, duh.

Darius Songaila
Why was he the worst?
He failed to use his patented shoulder shot enough to be effective.

Deshawn Stevenson
Why was he the worst?
He had a chance to make big bucks with a good playoff series.  He then went out scored 24 points.  For the whole series, not the average mind you, the total.

Donnell Taylor
Why was he the worst?
I have a feeling if I got onto an NBA court I could make at least one trey per game.  What did Donnell Taylor average per game?  2.7 points.

Etan Thomas
Why was he the worst?
If he was as good of a player as he was a poet...He'd probably be a better player than he is right now.

Other

Andres Nocioni isn't an acceptable answer because well...that's just too easy.

So there are your nominees, vote away.  Please keep in mind, that I don't necessarily agree with everything I said about the players here, I just put it in for lack of anything else to put.
