Playoff Game 3
Cavaliers (2-0) at Wizards (0-2)
Verizon Center
5:30 PM
TNT
Game 1: Cavaliers 97, Wizards 82.
Game 2: Cavaliers 109, Wizards 102.
If the Wizards are going to get a game in this series, today's their best chance. They're coming home to the Verizon Center, where they're a much better team than on the road.
Most importantly, a return home should mean a better shooting night for DeShawn Stevenson and Jarvis Hayes. That the Wizards were even in Game 2 with them shooting 5-25 combined is pretty incredible, and if they even increase their output a little bit, it should mean a victory.
There's always that irrational fear that Cleveland will flip the switch and pick up their play, but I just don't see it. To be honest, I think they pretty much are playing to their potential, and just aren't all that great of a team. The only guy I really worry about is LeBron, because I know he can do better. But, to be honest, I think the Wizards are defending him extremely well, and I don't see that changing much.
Anyway, I have a good feeling about today. This is the game I think the Wizards will get in this series.
Here are your lines. Remember, the Wizards ones are worth two.
