As you can tell from looking above, Eddie Jordan is not a very successful NBA head coach.  He has had one good season amongst several bad to mediocre ones.  Does anybody really think that Eddie is the guy to lead the Wizards to an NBA title?  If the Wizards somehow make it to the NBA Finals, and their talent level matches up to their opponent, does anyone think Eddie can hold his own coaching-wise against the likes of Popovich, D'Antoni, or Avery Johnson?

If the answers to those questions are no, then I'm wondering how long Ernie should wait before seeking to replace him.  It seems to me like as long as Eddie is the head coach, the Wizards are going to be continously stuck in 3rd gear.

Also, keep in mind that the Wizards are off to their worst start since the 1992-1993 season.  If they lose tonight against Denver, it will be their worst start since before the 1974-1975 season (Basketball Reference only goes back that far for game results).
