DC also gets the 17th pick in the 2013 Draft. New York gets the 7th pick in the Draft.

The Atlanta Dream announced the hiring of former Washington Mystics coach Julie Plank as an assistant as well as the return of Joe Ciampi.

Jasmine Thomas is now in Atlanta and the Dream will also get the 13th overall pick.

Improving guard talent is a must regardless of what they do with the draft and possible trades. Fortunately they may be able to address this need with free agents who played on other teams in 2012.

While the team was the worst in the WNBA for 2012, some players on that team still may have value not only for the Mystics but for other teams.
