Wiz will be Tough Out
I'm so ready
It means I'll miss the first rounds of the playoffs, most likely.
Thank God....
I got my missing the first round of the playoffs with an out-of-the-country trip out of the way last year.
Then again, hearing about the Golden State upset over Dallas just wasn't the same in Spanish.
The game blog will be up laters....this night's going towards the celebration tip.
It's just not the same
But regardless, epic win tonight.
I am so ready for the playoffs
And now
That "Its not arenas, its the defense" post was wrong too.
Its not either of those factors.
Its that we have 3 allstars and theyve only had 10 games the entire season in which all 3 are on the floor together.
That is ridiculous.
With out improved defense and depth, plus the improvement of the two bigs(Haywood and Blatche), and the breakout year of Caron and everything else......
If we were healthy there is NO WAY this team would win less than 50 games. Just no way.
With our offensive weapons and everything factoring in, on top of the improved defense (Especially in the 24-13 stretch after the 0-5 start until Caron got injured).....
There is just NO WAY at all that this team would win less than 50 games if our big 3 played all 82 games together. NO WAY.
PERIOD.

Dangerous come playoff time.
elite small forward in a breakout year.
superstar PG.
Plus very very improved defense (WHEN WE ARE HEALTHY.. and we are now healthy again, finally.) under Ayers (spearheaded by deshawn, Haywood, and Caron)........
What I am trying to say is that we are going to be very very dangerous in the playoffs. A threat to Orlando, Cleveland, Detroit, and yes even the oh-so-powerful Boston.
Healthy wiz are a 50+ win team, and yeah we werent healthy the whole year so we will only be a 43-44 win team...(Hell just with 2 out of the big 3 healthy the whole year we'd win 50).... but looks can be deceiving, and we got healthy at the right time.
VERY DANGEROUS: That should be the slogan for the Wizards in this years playoffs.
