Rainy Oppressively Hot Day Discussion

So I was reading We're Off To See The Wizards, and they mention that the Verizon Center is installing a new HD scoreboard, naturally the news sickened me (more on that in a moment) but it got me thinking about my experience at the MCI Verizon Center.
The year was 2004, the Wizards looked like they might be on the verge of a playoff berth after trading for Antawn Jamison. Kwame Brown was still on the team, but not really relevant to the story because he had been suspended for that game.
Facing the Wizards were the New York Knicks (after the Marbury trade but before the Francis trade) who still had the legendary Moochie Norris on their team. You may remember Norris (no relation to Chuck...I think) for his famous bobblehead. Of course, I and everyone I was with made sure to shout "MOOCHIE!" every time he was on the court. I'm pretty sure that he didn't hear us, but then again I'm also pretty sure he got it every time he played so it wasn't a major loss.
As fun as that game was, the thing that I'll always remember about that game is something that didn't happen on court. During a break in action in the 3rd quarter the Wizards did the Kiss Cam which was fine until they zoomed in on this couple that had to at least be in their 50's if not older. Once the couple realized they were on camera, they went in for the kiss, and that's when it happened:
Tongue.
That's right, a couple that likely had AARP membership French kissed on the jumbotron. At that moment, Kwame Brown could've walked on the court and missed 1,000 free throws and been better accepted than that public display of affection. The image still haunts me to this day. Sometimes, things are better off left in low definition.
So that's my story, but how about you all? What funny/traumatizing experiences have you had attending a Wizards game?

And since I'm twice you're age, and we have the HD scoreboard now, you'll probably be traumatized if you're at the game.
For the record, she's not down with the idea, either. I wonder if anyone's ever been maced on the Kiss-Cam

In fairness
But if you ever do make it on to Kiss Cam, make sure to organize a deal with the person sitting on the other side of you so when you start kissing the other person will pretend to be the 3rd part of the love triangle and start going all crazy like the woman in the YouTube clip. It would be the buzz of the blogosphere.

kiss cam
The upper deck never gets any of the giveaways. My initial reaction is to be annoyed that I don't get to fight my neighbors for a cheap t-shirt or a burrito until I realize how much more the lower deck folks (or their companies) pay for their seats. For 4 years running, the Wizards have sold upper deck full season plans for $15 a game. Can't beat that. I'm center court up top and greatly prefer that to endzone lower bowl seats.
i agree!!!!
now if they can just get rid of annoying Chris Styles on mic during breaks in the action.
The Kiss Cam rocks
