I'd like to see ruben patterson on the wizards. The original kobe killer defintley brings defense and toughness and could play the 3 or 4 and would probaly match up with some 2s. Not sure how much hes asking for, but id for sure give him a decent amount of our midlevel.

As for humphrey, why the hell not. At worst, he's a cheap 10th man who goes nuts once a year and hits a couple 3's, plus we'll be able to say we have lee humphrey. At best he can play 10-15 minutes, score some points when the starters are out, and makes a little niche for himself in the league.

I'm with you on all of that

The Patterson thing is tricky because I'm not sure what the whole plan is free agency and all, it's highly dependent on what the Wizards do with their re-signings, but I agree with you that at the right price Patterson could be a solid contributor here.

As for Humphrey, I think if he did make the team that's what he'd end up doing but I don't really see him making the team. Maybe he might get a crack in the D-League but unless he gets some PG skills or can get open enough to unleash his 3-pointers, I don't see him as NBA material. But I've been wrong before.
