Video Correspondant: 4/6/07

Alright, so apparently I'm the video correspondant so I figure every once in a while I'll post some vids that might interest the community here.  I'll try to mix it up throwing in a little bit of everything so don't expect this time to be full of just current players on the Wizards playing with the Wizards.  Sometimes I'll throw in the occasional throwback clip of some of the Wizards/Bullets of old.

The first two clips on the gambit, both try to prove that some of our players used to be able to jump.  Starting out with a clip of Darius Songaila in his Kings days (with a guest appearance by Antawn Jamison):

Here's Michael Ruffin throwing it down on Theo Ratliff, which is much better than throwing it up to Morris Peterson:

Finally, some of you might have heard of Elie Seckbach before, well when the Clippers were on their western swing, he caught up with them when they visited the Clippers.  All sorts of quotables from this segment:

This represents the view of the user who wrote the FanPost, and not the entire Bullets Forever community. We're a place of many opinions, not just one.

haha
Darius still has a penchant for setting off the refs.

Gotta love Ruffin's leg boomeranging around to knock Theo in the noggin.

Classic Seckbach gold--that's why the Wiz locker room is one of the best in the league.

Great stuff Jake.

Since when
Can Songaila throw it down like that?

I can't believe that was actually him when I saw the clip.

You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.

My theory(s)
Sometime after that game Songaila's muscle was replaced with some springy substance which made him more able to make random body part shots but robbed him of dominating physique.

And sean, note how Theo Ratliff career spirals downward after that kick.  I think he did more damage on that play than pretty much the rest of his career combined.

You start feeling good about yourself, and then everything goes wrong. I'm telling you, we don't need a weight room, we need a preacher.

haha again
Yep, Ruffin did woozy Theo pretty bad.  Ruffin's celebratory palm-toss that inflicted serious temporary emotional damage on me is up there though.
