It's Thanksgiving! Relax!
There's plenty of time to analyze Gilbert's injury, and believe me, tomorrow's post is going to be very comprehensive.
For now, though, it's Thanksgiving, so I hope everyone has a really good holiday. Forget basketball, and enjoy time spent with family.
For those who do go on here, what Wizards-related things are you thankful for? Start the list in the comments.

Just a few
-Having a bench that we all wanted to see develop anyway. PT for laser and taser!
- Even without Gil, rooting for these guys beats the hell out of rooting for the 76ers.
-Knowing that, even with the injuries, this team will still rack up more wins than Hollinger predicted ;-)
Happy Thanksgiving, folks...
Good Things
Ernie and Eddie bring professionalism with a minimum of drama. (well except for the Eddie-Brendan show).
Ditto for Caron, Antawn, and Antonio.
Watching Blatche's development is exciting. He's playing like someone who will be an all star within 2 years which is exciting since he literally started his professional career in a hospital bed.
Gilbert is possibly the best player the Wizards/Bullets have ever had and he's a great personality also.
And best of all, the Wizards upper deck season tickets for $15 a game. They give me an excuse to head downtown to eat at some good restaurants and hang out with friends at the games.
Forget Basketball?

I won't
I'm thankful for
That reminds me
I'm thankful
--For young players working to learn -- Blatche, Laser, Taser. Seeing their development is a hoot.
--For people who deal with their problems like grownups -- the Brendan-Etan feud was solved in the short term by Etan's ailment, but Brendan seems to have been able to put aside whatever problems he had with Eddie and play the best ball of his career.
--For Steve Nash. Watching that guy play is sheer joy.
--For a league with few to no boring teams. Seriously, there's something I want to see on almost every team. Even bottom feeders like Seattle and Sacramento have exciting young players like Kevin Durant and Kevin Martin. I guess that means I'm thankful for Kevins.
- For a cool blog to hang out at, run by guys who care what they're doing and visited by smart fans who care about the team. VG wipes away a tear
