What? Are you serious

Please, please tell me this falls through.

I'm officially convinced Kevin McHale is screwing up the Timberwolves just to spite his critics.  If this trade happens, Miami takes back the top two players and the best contract (Davis) while simultaneously ridding itself of the worst contract (Walker).

Ugh.  I hate the Heat so much.

This better not go through
Ugh. The Heat were going to be mediocre at best, this season, and the McIdiot decides this is a good idea. Replacing Antoine Walker and Michael Doleac with Ricky Davis and Mark Blount? Jesus.

I hate the Heat, I hate Pat Riley, I hate Kevin McHale, and I hate this whole freaking division.

I don't hate the whole division
But only to accentuate my deep, boiling hatred for the Miami Heat.  The Bobcats are scrappy underdogs you've gotta love.  Dwight Howard is one hell of a big man with no team around him.  The Hawks... aw, wook at the wittle Hawks and all their forwards.

The Heat get all my vitriol.

Come to think of it
The Heat are the only other team in the division I hate. But I'm pissed that every team somehow managed to get better. Ugh.

Go Magic.

look at that tagline
I wrote my comment in such a hurry I didn't even notice what site you're from.  Eh, I still stand by it, though.  Howard is a beast, I figure Lewis will be an upgrade, but y'all need some more outside shooters to balance the offense and they need to be cheap, b/c damn is your salary cap going to be tight for the next few years.

Speaking of which, if there was no salary cap, I'm convinced that the Heat would be the New York Yankees of basketball.  Is there a single player this offseason that they didn't try to acquire?  There's nothing pretty about watching a team try to buy it's way to a title, just ask Dan Snyder.

We'll get to this when (if) we reach this CD
But I feel like Orlando's problem isn't shooting, it's that their guards still turn the ball over too much.  That was the major reason why their offense sucked last year, and I don't see it getting any better.
You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.

Turnovers
Nelson and Arroyo have curbed their turnover woes this preseason, but Howard hasn't. He's made some good passes out of double-teams, but he still gets flustered more often than not.

Sorry to spam up the Heat thread with this Magic business, Prada. What do you say we just hate on the Heat in here and wait for the Competition Discussion thread to pick on my team?

Trouble
I don't think shooting is the issue: Lewis, Turkoglu, Redick, Bogans, Garrity, and even Nelson can hit the three-ball. I'm more worried about leadership and the lack of a good rebounder alongside Howard.

Just trading Ricky would've been bad enough
But throwing in Mark Blount too?  Miami would have to throw in 2 unconditional first-rounders at least to make this even remotely fair.
