How Blatche is making the Wiz pay more

Andray Blatche signed a below-market contract with the Brooklyn Nets, forcing the Wizards to pay him a higher percentage of the money they owe him after they released him using the amnesty clause.

Wizards will sign Eric Maynor

It appears the Wizards have found their backup point guard to John Wall.

Collison reportedly on Wizards' radar

The Wizards have reportedly reached out to see if they could potentially sign free-agent point guard Darren Collison to back up John Wall.

Wizards reach out to Maynor

Needing a backup point guard, the Wizards have made contact with Eric Maynor, formerly of the Portland Trail Blazers and Oklahoma City Thunder.

Webster agreement could come as soon as Monday

It sounds like it's only a matter of time until Martell Webster is officially back with the Washington Wizards. The Wizards could have him verbally agree to sign a new deal as soon as Monday.

Wizards want to bring Antawn back?

The Wizards reportedly would "love" to sign free-agent forward Antawn Jamison for a second tour of duty with the franchise.

Spears: Webster's 'No. 1' priority

According to Marc Spears at Yahoo!, the Wizards are making the re-signing of Martell Webster their "No. 1" free agency priority. I think most, if not all, of WizNation is pretty happy to hear that. For now, read more about why the Wiz should re-sign him.

Webster's back in D.C. for physical therapy

"Right now I just want to come here and get a grasp of what it's going to take to get me back to where I want be," Webster said. "My goal is to come in training camp for whatever team I'm playing for in shape. The fact that these guys are so hands on in the situation I'm in now let's me know how much that they want me back here, which is amazing. "Like I said before, I just want to be wanted and be valued for what I bring to the table."

Martell Webster explains to Ben Standig that he's not back in D.C. specifically to meet with the Wizards, but rather to undergo physical therapy following hernia surgery. I'm guessing Martell will meet with Ernie Grunfeld while he's here, though.

Keep Martell

It's easy to say that Martell Webster is expendable after the Wizards drafted Otto Porter, but we explain why that's not the case and why the Wizards need to keep him.
