With the surprise of Al Harrington playing in China this upcoming season, I'm wondering if the Wizards are going to decide to sign Al after the ASB, or go in a different direction. IMO Al doesn't have much of anything left in the tank, and when there are guys like Chris Douglas-Roberts out there for the taking, I don't see why we wouldn't go for it. Roberts is averaging 7.4 ppg for his career and he is a whole lot younger and would be there too produce all season. The down side of Roberts is the lack of playoff experience. However, he would definitely make more of a scoring impact then Harrington could. The power forward position is stacked on the Wizards already and Harrington is to slow to play on the wing so going in a different direction would definitely make sense. Roberts could slide in right behind Beal and be a great bench role player. While his 3-point shooting leaves a little to be desired (38%) it has been on the rise each season throughout his career. There are a few other guys available (Ronnie Brewer, Micheal Beasley, Jordan Crawford) but IMO the best option would be Douglas-Roberts.
What do you guys think?
