Wiz 2nd biggest financial losers in league, per Zach Lowe

In Zach Lowe's article today about the JKidd situation, he mentions that after all the lux tax and revenue sharing payouts are made, the NBA anticipates that the Wizards will lose the 2nd most money in the league, $13 million. Hilariously, the Nets are first at $144 million! He also claims that only 9 teams will have lost money this season.

I'm trying to decide how this could possibly be, given the team's playoff success and ownership's cheap ways. They're still paying Andray Blatche but I think the Flip Saunders contract is off the books. This does add some context to selling the 46th pick for straightcashhomey. Maybe they are hoping they can sign someone of relatively equal value from Summer League and drop their losses to $11 mil in the process.
