Is it shocking when the Team's Front Office sells a 2nd round pick, their only pick in the entire draft, for $1.8million that we fans are shaking our heads in disgust?
What benefit did the Wizards team roster receive from selling this pick? Absolutely ZERO benefit. There are a possible 9 roster spots to fill. Is the team ownership being truthful when they say that they want to save that spot for a veteran? It makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time.
So even if the Wizards go for the minimum amount of players allowed which is 12, they would still need to sign 6 more players. Teams almost always go over the 12 spots to about 14 leaving them with 1 to maneuver around during the season. That is 8 players needed with 6 mandatory.
Please do not believe the BS that is coming from the Wizards ownership. I wish they would trust be truthful and say "hey, we needed the cash. The Lakers offered it and we decided to grab it."
I would rather they just be truthful about it than to flat out lie about it.
How confident are you in Ted Leonsis and Monumental Sports in leading the Wizards?
