Famous heckler, Robin Ficker, comes out of retirement for Game 4

Robinfickerfullsize_zpsa6293dca_medium

Robin Ficker, best known for his relentless heckling of opponent's benches during Bullets games came out of retirement for Game 4 vs the Pacers last night. He was seated in the front row directly behind the Pacers bench. Armed with a small dry erase board, a rubber chicken, a rubber ducky and 16 years worth of pent up verbal taunts he banged away at the Pacers bench the entire game. It was clear he was getting to the Pacers as several players - Roy Hibbert in particular - jawed back and forth with him on a number of occasions.

While his antics were not enough to keep the Wizards from losing this game, it's been great to see him and a lot of old Bullets/Wizards fans coming out to the games - dusty throwback jerseys pulled from the deep back of many fan's closets have been on display at recent games. Hopefully all of their enthusiasm continues next season no matter how this one ultimately plays out.
