First I have to give full props to BulletsForever. Incredible community you have created. As a long suffering Bullets/Wizards (OT: and finally, the reason we have hated "Wizards" is the team has been so bad ... now we can finally see that there is some cool stuff that can be done with the name) fan and for the past 3 years STH, I couldn't be more pumped about Friday night at the VC.
Ted, please don't give us the incredibly weak sh*t for the in-game experience that you have all year. This is your chance to impress the national bball world (that is for once paying attention to us) and more importantly, have the real attention of "casual" fans and turn them rabid. How about you make the in-game experience about the game and the team, not total corporate whoredom. In the end, more fans for a team that looks like it is going to deserve them now and in the future. You'll make more money across all your platforms. Win, win.
And fans ... we have to show our support. I felt so bad when during the postgame interview John practically pleaded for some support from the city. "We're serious." It was both a statement and a plea. And I both loved and hated hearing that. At the game, wear your free tshirt and yell for a team that deserves some love. Finally, if they go through some rough patches, don't get all "so Wizards" .... get behind them. When we have a real home crowd is when we'll start winning games at home.
GO WIZARDS!!!! END IT IN DC THIS WEEKEND!!!!
