Watch: Andre Miller throw 30-yard touchdown pass to Bradley Beal

This certainly got the crowd on its feet.

No, you weren't imagining it. This actually happened.

The Wizards' Monday night game against the Heat featured more transition offense from both teams than I can recall seeing in the Verizon Center for some time. The game had a real track meet feel to it. That is, until Andre Miller and Bradley Beal turned it into a football game.

In the second quarter of Washington's 114-93 win over Miami, Miller threw the ball all the way down court (over 90 feet) to a sprinting Bradley Beal for the finish at the rim.

And the extra point--Beal's ensuing trip to the free throw line after being fouled by Toney Douglas--was also good.

The Wizards did a heck of a job closing out their final regular season game at home. They finish the season on Wednesday night in Boston. After that, they wait to find out who their actual playoff opponent will be.

Then, the action returns to the Verizon Center. Hopefully more action like what we saw last night.
