Trevor Ariza went a little nuts last night, making his first eight threes (he then missed four straight, but we'll ignore that) and scoring a career-high 40 points en route to a 122-103 win over the 76ers, the Wizards' sixth victory in a row. John Wall certainly played his part, scoring 17 points to go with 16 assists, most of which ended in an ATHREEZA splash.
Marcin Gortat recorded his seventh consecutive double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds on 6-of-9 shooting, and Trevor Booker was big with 14 points (6-of-7 shooting) and seven boards in 29 minutes. Bradley Beal was fine with 11 points and five assists. Martell Webster scored 17 points off the bench.
In other news, the Sixers retired Allen Iverson's jersey in a touching halftime ceremony. And they gave him a boat.

So we can officially report that Otto Porter WAS NOT KIDNAPPED. He's still safe and playing professional basketball.
— Bullets Forever (@BulletsForever) March 2, 2014
Why would the Wizards burn Otto Porters red shirt season to play him tonight?
— Grant Paulsen (@granthpaulsen) March 2, 2014
I thought I saw Otto Porter score. But that can't be.
— Conor Dirks (@ConorDDirks) March 2, 2014
I just went back and watched that Otto Porter behind-the-back dribble/jumper combo. Yep, it really happened. #Wizards #Hoyas
