Will the Wizards really make a trade deadline deal?

In my honest opinion that's a big NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! With the draft assuming to be loaded for the next 2-3 years every team is desperate to add picks with their trades. At least all the blockbuster deals will & as the Wizards stand as of now there is no blockbuster deal to be made. Any deal we attempt to make will be based on a Trevor Ariza plus a member of the Flotsam if any deal is to be made. The only way I see us trading Ariza is too try to get something for him since we might not keep him come season end. Don't get me wrong other guys like Nene, Gortat & Webster can be traded, but the interest isn't as high as a rental of Ariza.

So what deals can really be made? There are a few teams looking for expiring contracts more than picks. The Suns, Pacers & Bucks. The likely hood of us making them trade partners is a swap of bench player for Ariza, plus a member of the Flotsam.

Do we pick the phone up once again with Phoenix & throw a :

Singleton & Ariza for Frye & a Morris Twin? We'll have two stretch 4's one young & one almost done. Can't depend on Harrington now, can we.

Or do we see if we can tempt the Buck into a : No not Sanders

Ariza for O.J. Mayo? Could O.J. be the juice we need to come off the bench. Can play the 1,2,3 in certain situations, could relish in the role as the combo guard we need. Also can light the fire under Beal knowing O.J. could be a good fit beside Wall.

And last we have the Pacers & we know we won't be out smarting Bird. So will Larry bite on this offer.

Ariza & Gortat for Granger & Mahinmi? Yeah, yeah I know what your thinking, but would this really hurt us? We'll still probably stumble into the playoffs as a 7th or 8th seed. But that summer we'll have killed two birds (Ariza & Gortat = Cap Space) for any 1 stone (KD for the future) we want to solidify that run for 2017 Chip. And for the mean time we chuck a few pebbles at Monroe, Ed Davis (D.C. guy), Pat Patterson (D.C. guy) or any other F.A. we might need to stumble our way into a consecutive playoff birth next year.

Then again we can simply stay put & see how all this plays outs.
