This is the best stretch the Wizards have had this season, maybe in the past few years.
Think about the what the Wizards have done in their last 5 games. They beat the Suns (who currently have won 5 in a row) and the Warriors (winners of 2 straight) on the road before losing to the Clippers by 7. They then come home and beat the Thunder (1st in the West and had won 10 in a row) and now the Blazers (3rd in the West). Wow!
Did not see this coming. It has come down to timely 3-point shooting (something that always seems to come from either Ariza, Beal or Webster), pretty good defense, Wall playing at an All-Star maybe MVP level, and some decent bench play (mainly from Seraphin). This is the Wizards remember so they could regress. But fun while it lasts.
Note: Been lobbying for Seraphin to get more consistent minutes. Wizards are 4-3 when he scores over 10 points (2 of those losses were to the Clippers the other to the Rockets). He is the Wizards best scorer off the bench narrowly in front of Webster because he can create his own shot. Not sure how/why he does not get more minutes than Booker or Vesely. Those players are slightly better defenders. But everything else Seraphin does better. Wittman, play him more!
