Let's play best case, worst case!

I always get excited when Sports Talk 980 talks Wizards, because it happens so infrequently. Steve Czaban, as much as I love him, is always dismissive and shallow in his Wiz talk, but at least Kevin Sheehan and Thom Loverro make an effort.

I thought their question today was interesting.

What is your best case, worst case for the Wizards this year?

Kevin said best case is winning a first round series and taking two games against Miami or Indiana. Worst case was getting the seventh or eighth seed and getting steamrolled by the top seeds.

Thom's was funny. He said worst case is a second-round exit because Ernie Grunfeld would stay. Best case is missing the playoffs altogether and Ernie getting canned.

Unfortunately I think Ernie is completely bulletproof, so I think he stays as long as they make the playoffs.
