"The Knicks would "love" to acquire Glen Rice Jr. or a second-round pick in return for Beno Udrih, reports Marc Berman of the New York Post. The Wizards reportedly have interest in Udrih, while the Knicks considered drafting Rice in the first round this past June had Tim Hardaway Jr. been unavailable, according to Berman."
Washington needs a backup PG bad & the Knicks have one in Beno Udrih. But is it worth the risk of giving up on GR Jr.?
I like GR Jr. & have faith he will definitely be more valuable to us next year than this year. If we lose out on Ariza in free agency, GR Jr will be that backup SG we need to go with Porter Jr & Webster at SF. Temple is great as a defensive specialist, bu Rice can put points on the board.
If getting a backup PG for this year is worth sacrificing our future I think I'll pass.
