I know the Wizards are a long way from being anywhere near as good as OKC. However the beat the Celtics 101-83 without Durant or Westbrook. The Thunder took care of business with Reggie Jackson. Ibaka, and Lamb being their best players without Durant and Westbrook. This illustrates how far off the Wizards are from being a true title contender. The good teams take care of a Celtics team at home. I know that nobody expects the Wizards to contend for the title. However, they could in the next couple of years especially depending on what happens with the Heat.. The Wizards need to learn mental toughness and how to come out more nights ready to play from the start than they need another piece. If the Wizards get another piece and still show the same mental weakness. They will get near the same results.
OKC also has one of the best coaches in the NBA in Scott Brooks. Randy Whitman isn't been the only issue with this team this year. He probably isn't as bad as myself and some people on here claim he is, but I am sure he is not a title contending head coach.
On a side note I am curious what the Thunder are going to do with Reggie Jackson. Will they continue to pay him to be a backup/insurance policy or will they let him walk? If they do Jackson is in for a big payday. I actually think he is a starting pg in this league
