Summer League has come and gone and Free Agency is more or less over. We'll now just have to wait til trainingcamp starts. So.....let's talk predictions!
Just having John Wall and Nene back healthy from the start of the season should mean a significant uptic in our win column. The Webster re-signing, the addition of Al Harrington and eh..the addition of our #3 draft pick got us all very exited, but what should be a realistic goal for the upcoming season?
Some might think 50+ wins but imho 40 wins should be the magic number.
Not everyone is going to stay healthy for the whole season I recon and especially if Nene and/or Wall go down again, we are in serious trouble.
As a reference, last year only Miami and NY won 50+ games in the East. I think we are projected somewhere between the 5th and 8th seed and looking at lastyears standings Chicago (5th seed last yr) won 45 and Milwauke (8th seed last yr) 38 games. The East has arguably gotten weaker at the bottom though, so yeah, who knows. One thing I do know for sure: we need to improve on the road (7-34) to get to 40 wins!
What do you guys think?
